PASTURED CHICKEN

We will NOT have chicken for 2024

While we originally planned on raising chicken this season we have changed plans and decided it’s just not going to work for us this summer. We’ve had some major changes with our goat dairy and other projects that have required our attention.

These Utah farms will have birds available this summer - check with them about availability!

Please ask each farm about their chicken feed & practices as we don’t know the specifics and it likely varies quite a bit.

Our chicks are brooded indoors until they have their feathers, then moved out onto pasture where they eat grass, sprouts and and our custom corn & soy free poultry feed*. We raise slow-growing Cornish broilers and keep them outdoors where they can scratch, peck, stretch their wings and express their “chicken-ness”. We never use any antibiotics and have no need to - with good food and plenty of space, our birds are healthy and thrive in their environment.

All of our poultry is humanely harvested on site at our farm. Licensed through the Utah Department of Ag & Food, we offer whole birds, organs & feet. We don’t add any broth or fillers to the finished product - what you receive is 100% meat. From start to finish, our birds don’t leave our farm until they go home to your kitchen.

It’s farm to table at its finest.

*Although the feed we use does not contain any corn or soy, the facility it is milled in is not corn & soy free.
